Board members Donna Poka (Ngai Tauaiti Hapu) and Nessie Kuka (Ngai Tuwhiwhia Hapu), championed this cause and consequently a registration of interest was lodged with the Electoral Commission in October 2012, supported by Moana Communications Radio Manager Charlie Tawhiao.
The Trust Board is now short-listed for the kanohi ki te kanohi awareness campaign and General Manager Maureen Ririnui will attend an interview in Auckland on 7th November.  We will keep you updated as to the outcome.
