The devolvement of its affairs and assets to beneficiaries via future Iwi structures is now settled.
Following a two year evaluation period, which included indepth analysis and research, and possible options, the Trust Board has made the decision to retain its existing state of affairs.

The Trust Board considers the Maori Electoral Option to be of the utmost importance for its beneficiaries.
Board members Donna Poka (Ngai Tauaiti Hapu) and Nessie Kuka (Ngai Tuwhiwhia Hapu), championed this cause and consequently a registration of interest was lodged with the Electoral Commission in October 2012, supported by Moana Communications Radio Manager Charlie Tawhiao. The Trust Board is now short-listed for the kanohi ki te kanohi awareness campaign and General Manager Maureen Ririnui will attend an interview in Auckland on 7th November. We will keep you updated as to the outcome. The Trust Board has recently secured a Contract for Service (CFS) with TMIC leasing company to provide property management and company support services.
This is in relation to government rented properties which will be alocated to local iwi as part of the current raupatu negotiations. Ngati Ranginui are holding a hui.
